All too often we hear that Millennials are losing the art of face-to-face human interaction. Ad Age recently published Millennials Aren’t Afraid of the Phone, or Human Connection, which had some great insights that counter the perceived “problems” with the generation’s constant need to be on the screen. One such insight was that Millennials are the most likely group to actually call a company with questions or comments, and purchase decisions are more influenced by talking to other people than by simply seeing an advertisement.

Every generation has a component that makes people uneasy because it’s unfamiliar, but unfamiliar does not mean unengaged. How, when, and where people interact with others are constantly evolving, and today we have a more globally connected world than ever before.

With warm weather finally here, we can fully satisfy our craving for socializing and person-to-person contact. It is time to start celebrating NYC’s amazing outdoor spaces, rooftop bars and restaurants. Don’t you agree?
