Meet Eventsy Member Julie Humeas

Q: What brings you to Eventsy?
A: It’s so cool how your company does events. I love Uprise Art and I love events like these that support the idea of bringing so many different people together to experience things that in New York they might not otherwise be able to experience.

Q: What do you do and where are you from?
A: I’m the Fashion Manager of Nylon Magazine and Nylon Guys Magazine. I live in New York City and absolutely love every second of it.

Q: Tell us about your favorite pastime in New York City.
A: I love getting wonderfully lost in the city and stumbling upon a gallery. That’s my favorite thing. There’s always something new to do.

Q: What’s your favorite bar/restaurant?
A: Cafe Gitane in Nolita, my favorite French restaurant—they have a great wine section; Fanny’s in Flatbush too. To die for…

Q: If you could plan one extravagant event, what would it be?
A: Champagne tasting tour in Chelsea between every gallery.
