I’m a Professional Certified Coach (PCC), a Leader In Training at Accomplishment Coaching, a former Mentor Coach, a graduate of Accomplishment Coaching, I’ve got my BA in Political Science from The George Washington University, and an English as a Second Language teaching certificate from the Wisconsin ESL Institute. I’m also a Counter Culture Certified Barista and former faculty member at Washington Improv Theater.
For personal clients or group coaching clients, we use weekly sessions as an opportunity to check in, look at what needs to happen next, and then identify any requests for coaching that you’d like to shed light upon in that session. As an ontological coach, I’m trained to listen on multiple “levels” – to how my clients speak, show up, and relate to themselves, their projects, and the world. My clients develop their own vocabulary for empowering themselves in all areas of their lives, so they will continue to grow and develop even after the end of our coaching relationship.
Coaching is my profession. It is what I do for a living. I currently hold the PCC Credential from the International Coach Federation, which preserves the integrity of coaching standards through credentialing, a board of ethics, and core competencies. Coaching is a relatively new field and is not regulated as an industry, the way that dentistry or law might be, and almost anyone can write “coach” on a business card and go get a client. I have graduated from and received certification through Accomplishment Coaching, an ICF-accredited program. I am committed to the development and upholding of coaching as a profession, and it is important to me to honor the ICF Code of Ethics and abide by professional standards.
