Unless you’re Raven Baxter… you never know what the day will bring. You never know who you will meet for the first time, or who you might casually bump into while catching a cab or heading towards the subway. Sadly, none of us here at Eventsy are Raven Baxter, nor do we acquire the gift of being psychic–which is why we are strong advocates for always putting your best face forward, and dressing to impress.
In preparation for Fashion Week, and simply because the Eventsy team loves and appreciates a good sense of style, we have launched an additional Instagram page called “EventsyStyle”. We will be sharing our in-office style, while featuring the well-dressed, professional networkers who we meet on a weekly basis.
As New Yorkers, we know how brutal the summer weather can be. We walk fast, we work fast, and we ride subways that any claustrophobic person or hypochondriac wouldn’t last 5 seconds in. We don’t have the time (or truthfully, the patience) to “freshen up” every few hours. Which is why simplicity can be best. But if you really know what you’re doing— we know there is nothing simple about the thought process that inspired your look.
We know it’s not always easy, or the most comfortable, to douce yourself in jewelry, or to wear that suit and neck tie you’ve been forced to store away for the upcoming cooler seasons. For those who still keep their daily summer looks fresh and clean (while most likely not feeling too fresh, or clean)— we want to celebrate YOU!
