Who wouldn’t want to network at the United Nations Plaza? We met Rebecca at the World Bar, and this was her first event with Eventsy! She proved to be a wonderful addition to our evening of recent graduates and young professionals, her unusual changes in career paths encouraging to nervous job seekers. Q. What brings you to Eventsy?
A. My friend invited me to go with her, and when I heard it was at the United Nations Plaza, I had to check it out. Plus it is hard to meet people as an adult, so this seemed like a good opportunity.

Q. What do you do and where are you from?
A. I was born and raised in Westchester. Previously I was a pre-school teacher but now I am in finance! I work at a wealth management firm with a finance team of CPA’s.

Q. What is your favorite bar/restaurant?
A. I love brunch at Wall & Water in the Financial District. I recommend the Bloody Mary!

Q. What is your favorite pastime?
A. Well, I am a total foodie, but I also enjoy reading. I am currently reading 12 Years A Slave.

Q. If you could plan one extravagant event, what would it be?
A. An Around the World Eating Experience! Or at least something that could mimic getting to travel around the world, as long as the food is there.
