Summer is officially here, and to make sure we’re bathing-suit ready, we’ve organized a specialized Bootcamp class in Central Park. Sweat it out with fellow members who will be participating in the high intensity cardio/resistance circuit hour-long workout.
We’ve enlisted Chris Wieble, one of Manhattan’s best personal trainers, to host an Eventsy Cardio & Endurance Bootcamp on June 28th at 11am. A former athlete, Chris has competed in Basketball, Track, Cross Country and Football. He is a Certified Personal Trainer through The National Academy of Sports Medicine, a Certified Sports Performance coach by USAW (USA Weightlifting) and he specializes in Corrective Exercise (CES). “My goal is to help you achieve your goal.” Click here for location details.
For some this may more than enough for a Saturday morning. Others may just be getting started. Either way we have you covered. To start, we’ll be gathering at a nearby juice-bar post cardio workout.
Later in the day we’ll be heading downtown for an afternoon of free kayaking at Stuyvesant Cove Park starting at 2:30pm. We’ve teamed up with Urban Swim to help open up the “east coast” of Manhattan for free public access for non-motorized boats. Kayaking and all equipment will be provided for free and participation will be on a first-come first-paddling basis. Click here for additional information and to register.

Come network “Eventsy-style” at yet another fun happy hour mixer we’ve planned for you. This time we’ve included a mechanical bull, and you’ll be fit enough to ride it following our weekend workout.
